MCT60 Guillotine Cutting Machine: Capacity, Cut Length and Technical Guide
The MCT60 is designed for controlled cutting in high-volume textile and recycling operations. Catalogue values include a 600 mm working width, 130 / 185 / 250 cuts/min cutting speed and a material-dependent capacity of 1000–3000 kg/h.
Capacity must be interpreted together with material density, feed consistency, target length and the rest of the line.
What does 600 mm working width mean?
It defines the usable material spread on the conveyor. An even layer of fabric, fibre or yarn waste helps the knife see a similar load on each cycle.
Why is capacity shown as a range?
Light bulky fibre and dense fabric carry different weights at the same volume. Shorter target pieces may also require more cycles. A representative material trial gives the most reliable planning value.
Selecting a 5–360 mm cut length
The next machine in the process defines the target. Opening operations may need shorter controlled pieces, while transfer or pre-cutting can accept longer ones. The 10-inch screen supports repeatable recipe settings.
Pre-installation checklist
Allow service and knife-change space around the 4590 × 1470 × 1734 mm machine. Confirm the 21.5 kW supply and a floor suitable for 3250 kg.
- Plan infeed and discharge conveyors
- Keep operator access clear
- Assess metal detection where contamination is possible
- Test representative material before final sizing
