MCT50 vs MCT60: Which Guillotine Cutting Machine Fits Your Line?
Both models provide controlled cutting for recycling inputs. The right choice is the machine that fits material flow, available space and planned growth.
A useful comparison starts with a sample, target length, hourly volume and daily operating time.
Working width and feeding
The MCT50 has a 500 mm working width for more compact layouts. The MCT60 uses 600 mm for wider, higher-volume flow. Layer depth and distribution on the conveyor matter as much as nominal width.
Planning capacity
Changeovers, cleaning, knife checks and feed interruptions affect net output. The MCT60 catalogue range is 1000–3000 kg/h depending on material; MCT50 sizing should be confirmed against the real sample and process.
Selection scenarios
Plan for realistic growth without creating an oversized line.
- Compact space and narrower feed: MCT50
- 600 mm width and high-volume cutting: MCT60
- Frequent changeovers: include cleaning time
- Metal risk: add detection to either line
Why test a sample?
Materials with the same commercial name can differ in weight, moisture and construction. A test reveals feeding behaviour, cut quality and feasible output.
